STRIDE 2026 Ceremony App
205 guests. 21 tables. Zero lost interns.
During my HR internship at ACROW, I designed and launched a web app for the STRIDE internship program's closing ceremony: QR passes, live check-in, auto-seating and award reveals on the big screen. Built in 8 days.

01Problem
One night, 205 people, 21 tables
The STRIDE 2026 closing ceremony (1 October 2026) brought interns, mentors and executives from five group companies to one hall: ACROW, AICS, ABP, ICON and ICON Holding. Everyone needed to know where to sit, HR needed to check them in fast, and the awards needed a stage moment.
02Guests
A pass in your pocket
Every guest got a personal digital pass with a QR code from a WhatsApp or email link, with nothing to install. "My seat" shows a hall map with a red route from the entrance to their table and who sits with them. The agenda, HR announcements and 29 award reveals updated live on every phone.
03HR team
Check-in at the gate
HR scanned passes at the gate, and the table and seat popped up in large text. Executives got a one-tap check-in. A live dashboard showed arrivals by company. Two access levels kept it safe: full admin for the two program leads, and a shared helper login that records each check-in under the helper's name.
04Stage
The big screen
On the projector, a welcome wall greeted each guest by name as they were scanned, and award reveals ran live: "And the award goes to…", then the winner with confetti.
05Build
How I built it
React 18 and TypeScript with Vite, as an installable web app that works offline. Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security, PIN-protected server functions and live updates. Hosted on Vercel. Python scripts turned the HR Excel sheets into the guest database. I built it with Claude Code as my AI pair programmer, in about 8 days next to my HR work. It was live from day 2 and updated daily.
